Future of Manufacturing Foundation – Safeguarding Policy

1. Commitment

The Foundation is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults.

2. Scope

This policy applies to all staff, volunteers, trustees and partners.

3. Principles

  • Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility

  • All concerns will be taken seriously

  • Individuals have the right to protection from harm

4. Responsibilities

  • Staff and volunteers must report concerns promptly

  • Trustees oversee safeguarding practices

  • Appropriate training will be provided

5. Reporting Concerns

Any safeguarding concerns should be reported immediately to the designated safeguarding lead: Email: hello@futureofmfg.co.uk

Where there is immediate risk, contact emergency services.

6. Safer Working Practices

We will:

  • Carry out appropriate checks where required

  • Provide clear codes of conduct

  • Maintain safe environments

7. Confidentiality

Information will be handled sensitively and shared only where necessary.

8. Review

This policy will be reviewed regularly.
